We have an exciting, newly created role for our client based in Quedgeley. The business is marked as a fast growth business and this role is essential to it's continued growth. The Marketing & Communications Manager role will be principally responsible for creating & driving the offline marketing strategy for the core consumer brands . This role presents a 'blank canvas' as our client's marketing spend is currently entirely online. Key Tasks: Research and propose offline marketing launch (and necessary budget / expected returns), ready to launch at the start of 2018 to include mediums such as TV, print, etc. Work closely with regional showroom managers to execute local highly-targeted campaigns. This includes identification, budget allocation, realisation and reporting. Be responsible for proposing (and managing) the offline marketing budget from 2018 onwards. Control the entire offline marketing toolkit - brochures, letterheads, sample presentation boxes etc. Liaison with external PR agencies. Revise, update and develop the corporate image in line with group plans. Identify, create collateral, enter and manage corporate awards - regional and / or national as necessary Create and monitor a date regression calendar - i.e. a planned timeline of date specific marketing figures throughout our communications, so that these are always up to date. Assist the wider marketing team with content proofing, and on occasion even content creation if deadlines require it. Field offline marketing requests from other departments, and respond as well allocate labour & budget accordingly Ensure brand consistency throughout the company, including all branded marketing communications. Assist colleagues from other marketing disciplines as necessary, depending on workload and in order to gain a solid understanding of the business. Introduce areas of branding / marketing to our showroom locations in order to create an 'experience' - liaise with the Business Development Director to implement the strategy. Create & own an offline marketing calendar for our brands Report on competitor activity & market intelligence Work closely with the Head of e-commerce to ensure that campaign rollouts are smooth and consistent across all channels. Keep up to date with industry trends and sharing feedback internally throughout the team Demonstrate ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
