Responsibilities of the Data Analyst Apprentice: You'll be doing a real role within the society whilst studying towards a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Data Analytics. Whilst on the apprenticeship you'll have the opportunity to do all the tasks required as a team member and have all the coaching and support that you need to ensure that you are continuously learning and improving in your new job. In addition to your new role, we will provide a full company induction, on the job training, development and support from Nationwide as well as your own Apprentice Training Provider Assessor. We have a number of teams looking for Data Analytic Apprentices. Please state on your application, which team you would prefer. ATM Team - As an apprentice within our Relationships & Distribution Community you'll learn how our ATM and Cash Operations Governance team evaluates and develops the effectiveness of Management Information across Nationwide. - As part of your role you'll be involved in a variety of tasks, such as developing and maintaining management information, interpreting the business needs to produce reports and detailed requirements documents. - In addition, you'll be able to demonstrate your team working skills by interacting with ATM and Cash operations teams providing reports based on business needs. HR Shared Services Team - As an apprentice within our People & Culture Community, you'll learn how our HR Shared Services team deliver a Management Information reporting service. - As part of your role you'll be involved in a variety of tasks, such as using your excellent MS Excel skills to extract and manipulate raw data to develop new MI reports. This will also enable you to develop your analytical skills, as well as gaining experience of using a variety of different extraction tools and business intelligence software. - You'll be able to use your team working and communication skills by developing working relationships with business teams relating to their reporting needs and issues. Member Service Team - As an apprentice within our Relationships & Distribution Community you'll learn how our Customer Analytics forecast and monitor complaint volumes - As part of your role you'll be involved in a variety of tasks, such as tracking and quantifying the impact on complaint volumes and ratio of both incidents and service improvements. - In addition, you'll be able to demonstrate your analytical and problem solving skills by undertaking investigations to find the root cause of complaints. You'll also need a strong attention to detail as you'll be required to scrutinise and cross-examine Management Information. Requirements of the Data Analyst Apprentice: As a minimum requirement, you'll: - Have obtained or be predicted to obtain a minimum of 280 UCAS points (old tariff) or a minimum of 112 UCAS points (new tariff) - Have achieved a Grade C in Maths and English Language GCSE (or equivalent) It would be nice if you also had: - Advanced IT skills, particularly in Word, Powerpoint and Excel - A proven ability to have attention to detail Benefits: If you put a lot in, it's only fair you should get a lot out.
