Best in Recruitment, Manufacturing and Engineering specialists, are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer (multiple vacancies/areas available including Luton , Oxford and Swindon). The Role of Commercial Gas Engineer; -Is for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the Team -Will be based from Luton,Oxford and Swindon but will involve travelling long distances to meet client needs -To carry out Installation, Maintenance, Reactive and Planned preventative work on Plumbing jobs including but not limited to Central Heating Systems, water pipes, waste pipes, toilets and commercial plumbed in appliances - To complete all works in accordance with current Gas Safe / OFTEC regulations -To attend all planned works to test or maintain Gas / Plumbing equipment / Installations -To provide in all cases where possible a First visit fix -Is physically demanding and will include tasks including digging trenches, laying conduit as well as moving and lifting heavy equipment -Will involve night and weekend working covering an on-call rota -Will be evaluated against set KPIs Details of our Client who seek a Commercial Gas Engineer; A dynamic and forward thinking Facilities management company, established for nearly 30 years and based in the Shropshire region. With a dedicated call centre and teams of Engineers, they Install, Service and Maintain Mechanical and Electrical equipment in locations across the UK in industries including Food and Drink, Leisure, Pharmaceutical, Education, Retail and more. Due to growth, they now require Commercial Gas Engineers. The Ideal Candidate for the role of Commercial Gas Engineer; -Will have City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification or equivalent - Will hold Domestic Certification in accordance with Gas Safe - Will hold Commercial Certification in accordance with Gas Safe - Will understand IPAF and have Asbestos Awareness - Will have a minimum of 3 years experience in reactive maintenance and installation - Will have the ability to test their own installation/maintenance work -Will be comfortable working with electronic devices such as tablets etc. -Will be comfortable with an on-call rota and working unsociable hours including nights and weekends -Will be required to undertake a DBS check if they do not currently have one -Will be comfortable with traveling long distances to meet the clients needs -Will have a Full UK Driving Licence If the above opportunity is of interest and you feel you have the skills required please apply today.
