Trainee Recruitment Consultant - IT & Digital Market Experts. Role- Trainee Recruitment Consultant Location- Birmingham City Centre Company- My client is a well-respected, national recruitment consultancy who has been delivering industry leading recruitment solutions to the IT & Digital sectors since they were established 25 years ago. Trainee recruitment consultant remuneration-Recruitment is a challenging industry and the trainee recruitment consultant role is a demanding one, however it is also one of the only truly meritocratic roles available for trainee candidates and gives those who are properly motivated, an opportunity to carve out their own successful career. As a trainee recruitment consultant you will receive- - Basic Salary - Initial between £18k-£20k with promotion based increases worth between £2k-£2.5k each time! - Structured Progression-With most consultants achieving their first promotion within the first eight months as a trainee recruitment consultant! - Uncapped Commission - The majority of the money earned by a recruitment consultant comes from their commission. This is based on the billings you generate. This trainee recruitment consultant position offers up to 25% commission on your monthly billings. - 24 Holidays- you also get an extra day off for your birthday and can earn another 12days holiday through the year! (These can also be "sold back" to the company to even further increase your earnings). - Annual European trip - Each recruitment consultant takes a vote to choose one of three locations in Europe and the whole team is taken away by the Directors! - Achievers holiday incentive- Previous trips have included Las Vegas, Miami and New York. Trainee Recruitment Consultant Candidates- Recruitment is a fast paced, competitive and demanding industry and the trainee recruitment consultant role requires hard work, intelligence and determination. Trainee Recruitment Responsibilities- As a trainee recruitment consultant you will initially work alongside an experienced recruitment consultant "learning the ropes" through a combination of on the job and class room based training. Your initial responsibilities will be to resource applicable candidates for current vacancies. - Source applicable candidates through varies techniques including- Creating Job Specifications, Conducting CV Searches, Social Media, Headhunting, Referral Gathering. - Conduct Initial stage interviews via the phone, skype etc. - you'll be the first point of contact for both active and passive candidates. - Identifying potential new business leads mostly via candidate interactions but as you go through your industry training you will begin to familiarise yourself with potential clients within the IT and Digital markets. As you develop your recruitment skills set as a resourcer your responsibilities will also increase to include- - Business development dealing with both existing clients and following up on potential new business leads to develop your own list of clients. - Managing candidates ensuring your clients are able to interview the most in demand candidates within a competitive market. - Offer management securing the best outcome for both client and candidate in order to generate revenue.
