Fast growing independent business has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join the Management team on a 12 month fixed term contract. With responsibility for the production of accurate and timely management accounts, and management information this is an opportunity to have an impact on a business during the period of employment.

Duties will include;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets and cash flows.
• Monthly costing on contracts.
• Issuing Project Review Report.
• Preparation of Monthly reporting packs.
• Management of debt reporting and contract income.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Providing financial reporting information to the management team as required.
• Board reporting, KPIs and Order books.
• Asset reconciliation and depreciation (balance sheets).
• Liaison with auditors, internal clients and government regulatory bodies.
• Assisting the Business Development Director with Sales modelling and forecasting.

The ideal candidate;
• Strong, proven background within Management accounts.
• ACCA/CIMA qualified or appropriate degree.
• All round knowledge of an accounting function.
• Strong understanding of Management Accounts and back reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at various levels.
• Works well under pressure and is able to work to strict deadlines.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and good general IT skills.
• Strong Analytical skills with a good eye for detail.
