Employer Description We are a fast growing Technology re-seller based in Leeds. We have a small but rapidly expanding team due to our high levels of customer focus and innovative product offering. Duties/ Responsibilities - First point of call for all helpdesk enquiries via phone or email, responding within specified SLA's - Providing first line support to our users via our helpline and email - Solving queries where appropriate and logging all jobs on a ticketing system - Provide first line technical support to users providing timely and efficient solutions where appropriate - Triage all inbound enquiries to assess how best it can be dealt with - Action all calls and email requests capturing details on the helpdesk ticketing system and assign task to appropriate team member - Assist the IT department with any other ad hoc duties as required which could include, amongst other duties, helping to set up equipment and office locations Qualities / essential requirements: Knowledge, skill and behavioural requirements: - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to analyse and resolve issues - Ability to provide explanations/solutions in a confident and professional manner to Partners and staff of all levels - Organisation and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines - Excellent I.T. skills and understanding of various packages - High order of interpersonal skills to gain credibility and maintain positive relationships with staff, Partners and external parties - Demonstrates an excellent customer/client service focus - Ability to work as part of a team but be able to work under own initiative - Ability to work productively amidst frequent interruptions and remain calm under pressure - Pleasant, approachable, patient and polite - Discretion and the ability to work in a highly confidential environment - Demonstrate a flexible approach to work and an ability to multi task and to travel to other sites if required - A self-motivated problem solver Desired Qualifications 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other information Days/Hours - Monday-Friday, 9am - 5.30pm Salary - £650 - £800 per month Benefits - Long term progression - Progress on to degree programme - Pay rise depending on progression Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
