Ideally this school are looking to see Maths graduates who are passionate about education and aspire to be teachers in the future. You must be an effective communicator and be able to build professional relationships with students and teachers in order to see progress. About the role In this exciting role you will be working closely with the talented Maths Teachers. You will work with targeted students who need that extra push to achieve their full potential. You will also work closely with year 11's on the run up to their GCSE's. You will be required to deliver intervention sessions to individuals or to small groups of students in order to give them that extra push outside of the classroom. The teacher and Senior Leadership team will assist you along the way and you will liaise with them to ensure progress is being made. Maths Learning Support Assistant - About the School: The role is based in an 11-16 Secondary School located in Manchester. There is on-site car parking for those who drive and direct bus/tram routes from the city centre. Recently the school has received a 'Good' Ofsted grading with 'Outstanding' features. There will be a number of other graduates working as teaching assistants who will be able to support you in your first few weeks of the role.
