Teaching Assistant - Behavioural Support 1:1
Your new company
An alternative provision within the East Lancashire area are seeking to add 2 new staff members on an interim basis to assist in maintaining high quality provision to its secondary students.
Your new role
Your new role will be 5 days per week, starting at 8:30 and finishing at 3:30. The role is due to start after October half-term with an induction day before the half-term day commences. Day to day duties will be supporting 1:1 and with small groups that display challenging behaviour. You will assist in both their social and academic development.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have worked with students of this age range that present difficult and challenging behaviour, in either a mainstream or SEN/PRU setting. Teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential for the role.
What you'll get in return
A competitive daily rate of pay starting from a minimum of £60 per day depending on experience, along with a dedicated consultant to see you through your assignment. CPD certified safeguarding training is also available.
