This specific office reconditions engines and it is a small IT team they are looking to add to. Job Description This is a global company with excellent opportunities to learn and progress. The role is in an IT and engineering environment and with great support available for the right candidate who has a passion and genuine enthusiasm for software. Main duties/ Responsibilities: - Support a number of Software packages and learning how they work - Liaise with other aspects of the business, such as to gather requirements and ensure support is being provided - Work on Data modelling using Excel and Microsoft BI tools - Using SQL and the knowledge you are learning to assist users within Oracle Applications - Work with Exciting new developments such as VR There will also be an element of Basic Hardware support Qualities / essential requirements - Ability to work both in a team and independently - Confidence, self-motivation and a strong work ethic - Good basic IT skills and an interest in developing these skills - Good communication skills - Good understanding of basic IT practices Other requirements - You must be eligible to work within the UK Desired Qualifications Someone with 5 standards (Level 1 - 3) OR 5 National Level 5 grades, both qualifications including Maths and English would be ideal Working hours Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
