Job description An opportunity to join an exciting biotechnology company in their marketing team. You will be working over their social channels to increase their brand awareness and sales opportunities. You will be working closely with the Marketing Director over a mixture of projects with the objective of reaching new clients globally. Responsibilities - SCS desires to boost its internet profile using social media and other classical methods - Assist in formulating a marketing strategy and to learn and utilise modern publishing, networking and analysis tools to target customers and drive traffic and sales opportunities - Preparation and design of marketing documentation in cooperation with the technical team and the Managing Director - Will include: short reports, blogs and press releases and potentially articles in professional journals. work with and learn from external marketing experts - Researching and targeting potential customers in the relevant engineering sectors and identifying the appropriate individuals within each target organisation - Primary targets are German and US companies in the automotive, power generation sector and aerospace sectors, as well as companies materials processing Qualities/ essential requirements - Knowledge about modern digital marketing tools: Google Analytics, social media publishing and networking (eg FaceBook, LinkedIn, XING, Twitter etc.) - Good communication and writing skills in English (and in German) - Valid working permit for the UK - IT skills: MS Office - A 'bag' of enthusiasm - This role is diverse; it requires self-initiating, creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, drive and commitment with a varied, interesting range of activities and tasks, in a dynamic organisation Desired Qualification: 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other Important Information Daily working days/ hours - Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
