Our client, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies is part of the Freudenberg Group and is headquartered in Weinheim/Germany. Their Viledon and filterCair brands are synonymous with high-quality filtration systems for industrial and consumer applications. Additionally, they offer our customers a comprehensive and wide-ranging service portfolio to ensure that their filter systems provide optimum benefit. Due to succession planning for the long term, they are now seeking to appoint a Projects Proposal Engineer to join their busy Projects Department. Salary will be between £30k and £35k depending on experience plus car, an annual performance based bonus, AXA healthcare and attractive pension. This role would suit a graduate or time served engineer with at least 5 years' experience in a similar industry who is perhaps looking for the next step in their career. Full training will be given with the aim of the successful person moving fully into the role and able to work alone upon retirement of the current post holder. * The main aim of the role is to contribute to the growth of the business through the development of project based turnkey proposals by supporting existing customers and new clients across a wide variety of industries * This will specifically involve the surveying of existing ventilation systems & air handling equipment, recommending upgrades, energy savings, modernisation and turnkey air handling solutions in line with current industry standards. * In addition, the role will involve working closely with the sales and service departments, contributing towards growth across the whole of the UK business. * You will ensure that the companies' policies and work instructions are complied with and ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with current HSE standards. Requirements * Ability to assess on-site systems * Experience of ventilation, air movement, dust control, process heating / cooling / refrigeration and air conditioning systems. * Experience in producing project proposals * Computer skills essential. * HSE & Quality awareness. * Must be flexible with regard to working hours. * Ability to assess and advise on site air movement surveys. * Able to communicate effectively at all levels * To be able to read and interpret technical data and identify value added opportunities. * Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
