Additionally, they offer our customers a comprehensive and wide-ranging service portfolio to ensure that their filter systems provide optimum benefit. Due to internal promotion, they are now seeking to appoint a Projects Engineer to join their busy Projects Department, based in Crewe but with UK wide customers. The role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to take the next step in their career and would suit recent graduates or time served engineers with at least 2-3 years' experience, looking to develop in a new role. Subject to satisfactory performance and full training, the position will develop over a period of time which will then result in the provision of a company car. Salary will be between £27k-£32k depending on experience plus an annual performance based bonus, AXA healthcare and attractive pension. The main aim of the role is to support the Engineering Projects Manager, dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure full and efficient delivery of projects including design, installation and commissioning. Specific duties include * The on-time production of CAD drawings required for projects. * Support delivery of engineering based projects safely, on-time and within budget to the customers satisfaction. * Visit customer sites to inspect working areas and complete on-site surveys (including air flow assessment) * Attend meetings with customers to discuss technical and contract issues. * To follow HSE regulations and ensure they are adhered to at all times. Requirements * Ideal candidates will possess an engineering background, with the focus mainly on mechanical but understanding of electrical principles would be a distinct advantage. * CAD / Computer skills essential. * Relevant and advantageous experience would include HVAC, ductwork, sheet metal work or mechanical installation. * Good communication skills * HSE&Quality awareness. * Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills * A basic awareness of CDM regulations. * Must be flexible with regard to working hours. * Willingness to travel throughout the UK and on occasion, stay away when required.
