EDS Engineer required on a contract basis to join an industry leading automotive engineering business.

Working as a key part design group, and reporting into a wide range of projects through the Principal Engineer - Systems Integration. Responsible for taking a range of designs from initial concepts through to volume production. This will involve working closely with a range of customers from SMB's to major OEM's to interpret their requirements and deliver engineered solutions within weight, cost and timing targets.
- Developing the electrical distribution systems for both ICE and electric vehicles.
- Ensuring the customer's requirements are understood across the projects involved, working within a small team to deliver schematic and harness layout drawings.
- Fault-finding on vehicles, assisting with FMEA and other project documentation.
- We are seeking a person who has a solid understanding of harness architectures and design techniques, takes ownership of project responsibilities and who can work in a small team delivering to tight timescales. Familiarity with Vesys 2 would be a key advantage.
