6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Claims Handler role. York.
Your new company
You will be working for a reputable insurance company who pride them selves on quality customer service. You will be working as a claims handler within the property claims department. This is a full time position, 35 hours per week and flexi-time is available. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
You will be taking in claims and dealing with them from start to finish. You will be asking probing questions and inputting all the details on the systems. You will then need to direct and liaise with different departments, you will need to process payments, writing confirmation emails and keep all files up to date. This role will be mostly on the phones but does have an administration element.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position you need customer service experience, however this does not necessarily have to be within an office environment. This client is more focused on finding the right person for the team and with the right attitude for the role. They are looking for somebody who is passionate about customer service and shows initiative. Someone who is motivated and keen to learn. You must have good IT skills including MS Word, Outlook & Excel.
