Role Summary: The RFP function within the Aberdeen Distribution team works closely with the sales teams, client directors and consultant relations teams covering the UK, Europe and Middle East. The team presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to these areas of the business and to gain a wealth of knowledge about Aberdeen and the products we manager. The team is organised into two functions: RFP (new business tenders and questionnaires) and Presentations. This role will provide support to the whole team by assisting in the completion RFP's, questionnaires, online consultant databases and presentations utilising internal departments and systems. Main Duties - Responding to RFPs, questionnaires and presentations from investment consultants, existing clients and prospective clients on behalf of the Aberdeen business development teams - Maintenance of the consultant databases (online websites with information on Aberdeen products) on behalf of the Aberdeen consultant relations team - Maintenance of the Aberdeen CV database eg requesting and uploading CVs - Providing administrative support to the team - Liaising with internal departments such as sales, performance and legal to obtain information to complete tasks such as RFPs, client requests Qualities/ requirements - Strong communication and interpersonal skills: both verbal and written - High motivation and enthusiasm - Attention to detail - Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a new environment - Willingness to learn - Ability to work well within a team environment and also on own initiative - Competent with Microsoft Office programmes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Qualifications - Educated to at least A Level or equivalent level Other Important Information Working hours - 9am-5:30pm, 37.5 hour per week
