Job description This forward thinking, social housing organisation is looking for an organised, professional individual with an interest in Human Resources to join their existing team in an administration-focused role. Responsibilities - Recruitment administration including liaison with recruitment agency, interview scheduling, issuing appropriate documentation - Obtaining/co-ordinating references, DBS clearances and any other pre-employment checks for new starters - Support maintenance of the HR sections of the intranet and internet sites - Administering the staff benefit programme - Corporate training programme and leadership & management development programme including preparing rooms for training events, supporting trainers with administration - Photocopying and scanning as necessary - Opening and sorting departmental mail; frank outgoing departmental mail - Taking minutes at hr team meetings - Ordering stationery - Ensuring the hr office is tidy and leavers files are regularly archived Qualities/ essential requirements - Numerate - IT skills - Good written communication skills - Good verbal communication skills - Customer service Desired Qualification 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other Important Information Working days/hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (35 hrs per week)
