An excellent new job opportunity for an experienced Full Stack PHP Developer to join a market leading specialist software business on a permanent basis, in their Gloucester base. Your new role
You will be working as part of an expert, driven and hands on technical team made up of developers, research, projects, test and analysts. You'll work on a range of key applications for the business, automating, enhancing and improving existing software products, as well as developing new features where required. You will work within Kanban and Agile methodologies supporting the business in maintaining their lead in a highly competitive market, and providing expert 3rd line support and guidance.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have proven, hands on experience as a PHP Developer across the full stack, ideally MS SQL Server/ MySQL. Some understanding of Front End / web platforms and languages such as JavaScript ad jQuery is key. Also knowledge of automation, test, debugging, coding standards, version control conventions, JIRA or Bamboo and of working in a Kanban or Agile Scrum environment would be an advantage. You must be passionate and driven about design, a natural problem solver, with a user focused approach, taking pride in your work. Your attention to detail is second to none, and you're confident working across the full stack and development lifecycle. You are adaptable and flexible, able to react quickly to changing requirements. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, helping you to work collaboratively with the team across the wider business.
