Site Engineer C&I – Liverpool – Pharmaceuticals – Permanent (Days)

We are currently recruiting for a C&I Engineer with a global pharmaceutical leader based at their Liverpool manufacturing site. In this role you will perform day to day routine requirements, scheduled and unscheduled PPM tasks as well as project dependant tasks in accordance with MHRA/FDA guidelines. You will be an SME to the business offering support in areas such as HVAC, steam boilers, compressed air systems and water systems. You will offer expert assistance in the areas of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems.

As a site engineer, you will be responsible for/be:
  • Fully conversant with Instrument and process control equipment installation, maintenance, calibration and fault finding.
  • Fully conversant with maintenance and fault diagnosis of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Scheduled and unscheduled PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks and project dependant tasks.
  • Working to cGMP in accordance to MHRA/FDA guidelines.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by promoting safety awareness.

In order to be successful in applying for the role of Site Engineer, you will be/have;
  • Instrument or Electrical Engineering Qualifications
  • Time served engineer Instrument/Electrical
  • Experience supporting DCS or PLC & SCADA systems
  • Significant experience working within a cGMP Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical environment will be advantageous – Process sectors will be considered
  • Siemens 7 experience
