Celsian Education are looking to recruit a Music teacher to take on a long-term role at one of our Key Stage 3/4 schools in a Leicester City LEA school, to the west of the City Centre paying between £117.52 - £173.46.

The majority of the timetable consists of teaching Music to KS3 students however there will be a requirement to teach GCSE Music on occasion. The school expect the successful candidate to take on planning, marking and parents evenings which will be paid, and will also have PPA time.

The last Ofsted inspection rated the school 'Good' with outstanding result from the GCSE Music students with 89% A* - C in the most recent exam results. Year or year the school continues to achieve successful exams results with many of their KS4 students being accepted into prestigious A-level schools to study.

About You

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher who holds QTS. In order to be considered for this role you must:

Have a strong knowledge of the subject
Be able to teach Music in accordance to the KS3/4 Curriculum
Be able to create a positive learning environment
Be eligible to work in the UK
Be a qualified to teach Secondary (QTS/QTLS)
Possess valid references, DBS/police checks
NQT's considered.
