Kier Workplace Services (formerly Mouchel) is one of the UK’s largest providers of outsourced professional and support services to local authorities and other public bodies, such as the police and fire and rescue services. Kier leads the eMBED Health Consortium and delivers services to NHS in Yorkshire and Humber. The consortium provides a range of commissioning support services including ICT, business intelligence, and procurement supporting the region’s CCGs, who are responsible for putting in place healthcare services to meet the needs of people across the Yorkshire and Humber region. eMBED also delivers services to NHS England and other NHS organisations in the region, which includes the delivery of ICT services to the region’s GP practices.

The interventions and support eMBED provide are evidence-based and tailored for the local environment. We provide specific expert services and end-to-end commissioning support under the NHS England Lead Provider Framework.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an ITIL lifecycle management process for all IT assets. This will include managing IT hardware, software and associated licenses in line with our contractual commitments and industry best practice.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the quality and integrity of the data it holds; also ensuring the IT Configuration and Asset Management process, policies, and procedures are being followed and managed appropriately.

What skills and experience will you need to be considered?
• ITIL Foundation Qualification
• Knowledge of the integration of the IT Asset Management process, roles and technology
• Knowledge of the IT Asset Management process flows, principles, and policies and procedures
• General knowledge of the IT Asset Management Tool capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Adaptable to various duties/tasks
• Be able to multi task and prioritise workload
• Microsoft Office, computer literate
