There is now a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an established agency in London as a Full Stack Developer. The role will involve:

Developing PHP-driven websites – whether building from scratch or optimising existing client solutions. These will vary in scale, complexity and purpose: from simple brochure-ware sites, to complex e-commerce solutions targeting a global audience.

Technical scoping – from gathering requirements through to researching potential solutions, the role will be hands-on in leading client briefs to identify the most feasible technical solution to meet their objectives.

Growing existing clients’ websites. This will involve driving the development of new features, frontend theming and backend modules –

from both a planning and build perspective. It will require a level of self- management from a workload perspective, plus a broad set of frontend and backend development skills to take on a variety of tasks.

What are we looking for?

    First-rate HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and MySQL skills.

2+ years proven software development experience in PHP, object- oriented programming and MVC frameworks.

Development for Magento and WordPress (from a frontend, backend and module development capacity) would be a huge bonus. As a minimum, we need someone with a familiarity of the platforms ready to jump in the deep end with them.

Strong understanding of GIT-based source control.

In-depth understanding of modern front-end development practices and

    responsive design.

A working knowledge of design packages such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

Excellent self-management, meticulous attention to detail and a logical problem solver.

Appreciation of UX, industry best practices, and accessibility.

A good understanding of online marketing overall from both a creative

    and strategic perspective.

An ability to think commercially when considering prospective solutions.
