Baltic Training and TPCS Ltd are excited to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join their team based in Lancaster.
TPCS were originally founded in 1994 as an AutoCAD Developer. Since then they have developed into a high-quality One-Stop IT Service. They offer a wide variety of services from maintenance contracts, internet connectivity, networking etc. Throughout the years they have forged a very good reputation around the North West but they are now starting to work with organisations further afield including South Africa.
They are now looking for a hardworking and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills to join their team and work with their large customer base.

With the help of employers, an apprenticeship offers a structured and practical approach to learning. You will train in a way that supports you, while you develop the skills you need to be successful in the fastest growing sector in the UK. You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:
- 1st Line Support.
- Building new PCs.
- Software installations.
- Site visits.
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Networking Fundamentals
- Mobility and Device Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation
- Cloud Fundamentals
- Coding and Logic
- Level 2 Functional Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT)
Skills and qualifications required:
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Knowledge of PC builds.
- Troubleshooting mind-set.
- Knowledge of networking.
The future is bright
Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits
- £150 per week
- Full time (37.5 Hours per week)
Location and travel
Their office is located in Central Lancaster and can be accessed via local public transport routes.
