A fast growing and exciting Ultra Fast Broardband provider based in Paddington are looking for an experience and driven Network Planner with a background in telecoms. The company itself offers a cheaper and better performing broadband product, over 40 times faster than its competitors! With a fresh look at the market space and an exciting product, they have an extremely friendly and approachable team and a Directors that is open to innovative ideas and creative solutions.
They have recently moved to new, modern offices fully equipped with a games room, mediation room, café and cider on tap from 2PM!
Within the role you will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure projects are completed to planning requirements and on time. To achieve this, you will be Scheduling and prioritising planning work activities, progress reporting on planning activities and owning, executing and delivering planning requirements within a geographic region.
You will also be conducting detailed surveys in your territory to meet design specs for civils and fibre build. Having great communication skills is also necessary as you will also be liaising with local authorities and other third parties as part of your role.
You will be proficient at highlighting and escalating major design changes as well as show a flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information.
You will also create detailed job packs accurately and efficiently including all accompanying documentation for utility stats, street gazetteer, detailed network plans with work point instructions, CDM, BoM, etc.
We are looking for someone who has experience in access network planning along with good civil and fibre experience. You will also have a track record of undertaking external site surveys with knowledge of NRSWA. A Unit 2 Street Works Signing, Lighting & Guarding accreditation would be ideal.
You will come with a proven track record of planning successful projects and the ability to draw together different technical disciplines.
The ideal fit will come from a telecoms background with planning experience.
A total awareness and understanding of current health and safety procedures for working in the UK is essential.
