Management Accountant - East Lancashire - Progression opportunity.

With an exceptional senior leadership team and a number of staff benefits they are seeking a Management Accountant to join the finance team.
Your new role
As Management Accountant you shall provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to track performance and make optimal business decisions. Along with analytics and insight to help drive business decisions, this position will need to work as a business partner with the operational team. You shall be responsible for the Inventory Management, including the design and effectiveness of the related financial controls and provide analysis of costings and productivity/efficiency savings - product costings, cost rate setting, labour and overhead recovery, manufacturing efficiency. As Management Accountant you shall seek to improve related tasks, specifically to the monthly inventory balance and implement a standard costing model for visibility to the operational team. You shall be responsible for financial reporting requirements, including monthly and year-end accounting including Balance Sheet reconciliations and support the development of the annual budget.
What you'll need to succeed
You shall be a qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a minimum of three years' experience in Manufacturing accounting. Fully conversant with UK statutory reporting requirements you shall have experience of developing and implementing internal control frameworks and experience of working to tight reporting deadlines. Knowledge of US reporting requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley is desirable and the use of Hyperion is desired but not essential.
