Anthony Cole Associates are proud to be asked to once again partner with a financial service/ payments company with a truly global footprint. They are currently looking for a Commercial Finance Partner to take responsibility to partner directly with the Corporate, Non-Corporate and FI directors to maximise revenue and EBITA for their channels, whilst minimising financial risks.

This covers all aspects of the Commercial Sales channels, from review of actual performance through Forecasting and Budgeting to finance support on new contracts. Key insights must be gained from all available data, quantitative and qualitative, and these insights communicated effectively to the Commercial teams to drive actions.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Partner:

Partner directly with the directors for Corporate and Non-Corporate Sales and FI, and their teams to drive future revenue and EBITAAnalysis of all data, financial and non-financial, to identify performance opportunities and issues facing the Commercial Sales channelsInterpret financial and non-financial data and present this to the Commercial Sales teams in a clear, concise manner to drive actions to improve revenue and profit performanceEffective communication of those insights to support the development of the key strategic goals of the channel directors, including growth through sales and retention, optimisation of the current estate, churn where appropriate and sensitivity analysis to drive the value agendaCommunication of insights through standard repeating forums (eg, monthly Commercial Board Review) and ad hoc reviews (eg. Feedback and review of financials on a tender opportunity)Providing commercial insight/input to Commercial Finance Manager and FP&A Manager as part of the Budget and Forecast cyclesWith the Corporate Sales Director, manage the Corporate renewals pipeline to gain early identification of upcoming renewals, ensuring sufficient time for financial modelling of re-sign opportunities and input into the proposed termsManage the new contract process, ensuring early visibility of new contract opportunities and sufficient time for financial modelling and input into the proposed termsManage the Sales Commissions process, ensuring the commissions models are structured to drive maximum financial benefitKPI reporting to support Commercial decision makingKey Skills of the Commercial Finance Partner:

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualificationExperience of working in a planning role in a US or UK corporateDemonstrable budgeting and forecasting experienceExperience of communicating to all levels of managementA demonstrable high level of academic successExcellent numeracy and literacy skillsSound IT skills with an ability to build complex models in Microsoft Excel, as well as experience in using PowerPointStrong data interrogation skillsExperience in a commercial role - in particular an appreciation of the commercial dependencies and the FP&A impacts of such items.Able to confidently liaise with all levels of management and operational (non-finance) staffAbility to work in an organised manner and prioritise key tasks and manage staff effectively to meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills as the successful applicant will be working with all levels of staff in a dynamic business environment, as well as attending ad hoc customer meetingsA keen eye for detail due to the data intensive business environmentThe ideal candidate must be able to work effectively with the Commercial Partners to ensure Finance is appropriately represented in all forums, and must be able to communicate effectively with all Commercial partners. You will be preferably a newly qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and excellent Excel skills (ideally with Hyperion/Essbase).
