Available: Immediate StartBorough Kitchen is hiring an eCommerce Manager to own the digital arm of the business, developing and executing digital strategies to further accelerate our online sales growth.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in retail eCommerce and demonstrable experience delivering strong sales growth, who can lead, and grow a small eCommerce team while helping develop their skills and effectiveness.

Reporting to the owners of the business, the eCommerce Manager will lead the brand on content, UX best practices, growing traffic, conversion and revenue, whilst also ensuring the very best in immersive digital brand experiences.

You will be a highly-driven and motivated individual, ready to take a step into a senior position in a small and agile team, having gained proven experience in the eCommerce sector.

Key Job Components:Oversee all aspects of the eCommerce business including, website design & UX, customer services, web analytics and web technologiesCoordinating between our offline and online merchandising and campaigns (in-store, windows, email, social, and website)Creating and commissioning compelling, unique content to help improve customer experience and SEO around products, brands, categories, recipes, and seasonal themes.Homepage and landing page design and implementation; frequent refreshing of our homepage to highlight current themes, marketing campaigns, events, and new productsDeveloping and implementing our online merchandising around category, brand and other landing pagesManage the relationships of all 3rd party digital marketing providers (SEO, PPC, email and web development agency) to drive customer acquisition, identify multi-channel initiatives and drive revenue growthTrack customer journey from customer acquisition (traffic) to engagement (lead generation), conversion (orders and revenue) and customer retention.Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members and the owners of the business.Work with other department heads to ensure an integrated approach to driving sales across all channelsProvide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practicesIdentify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organisational thinking as well as making use of the features of MagentoMake the case for required investment to support growth with clearly identified ROI on expenditure.Key Skills and Characteristics:Loves cooking and food3+ years managing a retail eCommerce website and teamExperience with Magento would be prefereableProven leadership of eCommerce projectsMobile first experienceCommercial acumen and strong digital knowledgeOutstanding analytical skills with strong experience interpreting test results, in particular using Google AnalyticsPractical experience of digital marketing channelsProject management experienceExcellent communication skills with experience of working cross-functionallyDemonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise and articulate the highest impact initiatives.Proven organisational and time management skillsPhotography and/or Photoshop skills helpfulTo apply for any of the roles mentioned below, please email the following documents in "pdf" (Adobe Acrobat) file format:
