MET are delighted to be recruiting for a new client who sit at the heart of their industry and who have a renowned reputation for leading with way with innovative new products and technical advances.

They are now looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join the business as they look to bring their marketing activities in-house. Initially this is a stand alone role but with great scope to grow a team as the role and business grow.

The Role:

·Champion the brand internally to ensure everyone understands its ethos and its goals
·Manage all aspects of the brand across our supply chain ensuring all distribution partners align with the brand.
·Review packaging and positioning of products and suggest improvements
·Work closely with product development team and sales team to evaluate new projects based on KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
·Define and manage all aspects of the product launch process
·Agency management ahead of new product releases, preparing copy and content for marketing to generate interest before a launch
·Create pricing structure for new products in line with company's margin and long-term objectives
·Monitor and evaluate competitor products and work with sales team to create compelling messages of benefits over the competition
·Gather success stories from our customers and develop copy for case studies/website content
·Monitor product distribution and end consumer reactions
·Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues
·Grow and manage all the Social media activity. for the business

The Person:

·Proven working experience as Brand/Product Manager
·Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
·Thrives on contributing to growing product sales and market share
·Highly creative with ability to think out of box
·Familiarity with distribution channels and media marketing campaigns
·Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
·Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
·Experience with product pricing, packaging and positioning
·Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
·Excellent command of the English language - with strong written skills
