Compliance Analyst (9 Month Contract)

Based in Daventry, Northamptonshire

£17.02 per hour

Our Client, a global manufacturing organisation located in Daventry, is currently looking to recruit a Compliance Analyst to work as cover for maternity leave on a 9 month contract.

Working to ensure that the Daventry Site is compliant with Sarbanes Oxley 404 Regulations, the successful applicant will be working within a small team to ensure that all Site SOx Processes and workflows are documented and kept current. In addition to this, ensuring that all new procedures are documented in accordance with SOx requirements.

Applicants will ideally have awareness of Sarbanes Oxley 404 Regulations and have been working in a similar role covering SOX compliance.

This is a full time role paying an hourly rate of £17.02 per hour.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working with Finance and Functional department members to ensure the Site is SOx Compliant.
  • Maintenance of SOx process documentation (including process flows walkthroughs) and the management of the SOx database.
  • Audit of internal controls and processes and following up non-compliance.
  • Segregation of Duties Audit.
  • Audit of key spreadsheets that drive financial transactions.
  • Administer monthly Site SOx Self Assessment process.
  • Co-ordinating requirements for internal and external audits including year-end audits.
  • Co-ordinating and instigating improvements in order to close out any process issues.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Support preparation of Patent Box return.
  • Provide ad-hoc support.
  • Adherence to given deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Communication to employees of new process requirements and controls.

Person Specification:

  • Awareness of Sarbanes Oxley 404 Regulations.
  • Experience in a financial/accounting position.
  • Strong PC Skills - Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Access and Visio.
  • Confident, proactive and driven induvial who can self-manage and work alone.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
