Excellent opportunity for an experienced Market Data Analyst to join this global financial services provider in their continued growth at their offices on the Berks / Bucks / Oxfordshire borders. With a strong background and proven commercial experience working in the Investment Services industry in a Market Data related role you have extensive knowledge of global market data vendors including Reuters, Bloomberg and Thomson, with strong analytical and problem solving skills along with a measured and methodical approach. You are able to demonstrate experience in analysing business problems and proposing and implementing appropriate solutions. You are a confident communicator who can be credible in front of senior business users and have a solid understanding of the business drivers in an investment services company and specifically excellent knowledge of the fund management industry and the investment process. You can demonstrate excellent knowledge of vendor invoicing and business principles as well as strong skills in Market Data Administration including the use of inventory tools such as FITS. You are highly PC literate with full use of the range of Microsoft Office suite of products and an awareness of project management methodologies. Professional qualifications such as those from the Securities Institute, IAMR, etc desirable.
