Systems Trainer needed in Southend Ref 7033545 paying £90 per day
Lead on the planning, organisation and delivery of training events relating to the department’s management and information systems, including upgrades, new modules and changes to recording processes
Oversee the development and content of training sessions, training material and manuals with other supporting information as appropriate ensuring they are consistent with national guidance and local requirements. In order to make as certain as reasonably practical that all identified staff are adequately skilled to access and effectively use new systems.
Increase management understanding, engagement and involvement with the change programmes through a robust training development action plan which includes clearly articulated targets. Ensure managers are regularly updated on progress and evaluate and review the plan on a regular basis.
Participate in the User Acceptance Testing of new systems and upgrades in conjunction with other staff and use this to inform training needs analysis.
Report to the Data, Performance & Information Manager to ensure that new policies and statutory regulations are included in all training materials.
Evaluate, review and recommend delivery methods, including training venues and e-learning training content as appropriate
Lead the identification and assessment audit of the training and development needs of staff working in a range of multi-agencies around major changes in management and information systems.
To have regard to and demonstrate at all times the importance of system and data security and confidentiality in dealings with users and in any manipulation/reporting of data or its quality.
Ideally knowledge of information governance requirements including the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act
