My client is a £12m turnover timber wholesale company with a number of branches and is based in South London. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager who will work closely with the MD and a small team to assist with the next phase of its development.This is a part time role of 2 to 3 days a week.
RolePreparation of monthly management accounts.Preparation of the monthly MI and reporting pack including variance analysis and KPIs.Preparation of annual financial budgets and monthly flexed budgets. Working capital management. Development of the financial reporting systems and internal control procedures. Strategies to improve gross margin opportunities and cost reduction measures.Liaising with the auditorsExperience RequiredGood ERP systems experience (Kerridge would be a bonus) and in particular G/L and stock controlAt least 5 years at FM level in a similar businessProven track record of performance reporting and producing management and statutory financial statements. Advanced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products.
