Are you a marketing manager looking for a new challenge? A fantastic company is looking for a marketing executive.

The ideal candidate will have management experience in a busy B2B events team as well as hands-on experience of online and offline direct marketing. You will be encouraged and expected to take the initiative, to develop and communicate new ideas and to play a vital role in driving delegate revenue growth across the portfolio.

Person - Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Management responsibilities
*Have direct management of one senior marketing executive and one marketing executive
*Lead the marketing function with oversight of up to 50 events and to achieve a portfolio of £400k in delegate revenue
*Advise the events Managing Director on marketing budgets and set delegate revenue expectations per event
*Lead on data management, validation of LMG delegates and the wider marketing database
*Manage the list research schedule to ensure timely return of researched data
*Oversee the implementation and migration of a new events platform and marketing technologies to begin in 2018 as well as a new social media strategy (in conjunction with the director of content)
*Manage external suppliers to maintain optimal business rates, including three research companies and two telesales companies.

Marketing responsibilities:
*Own, develop and implement the marketing strategy for a portfolio of 15 events, reporting directly into the events Managing Director. Also be able to oversee marketing strategy for the marketing team
*Adhere to monthly budgets and ensure marketing costs are managed effectively
*Implement promotional activity - controlling all elements: email copy, email design, print, data, mailing and analysis to optimise ROI and generate paid and free delegate registrations
*Work closely with editors, publishers, internal designers and conference producers to ensure each event is properly represented, benefits identified and marketing is reaching the target market via a mixture of channels
*Adhere to brand guidelines and enforce event branding where possible across the team.
*Devise and sell delegate packages to existing and new customers
*Identify and arrange relevant contra deals with internal and external clients to maximise conference exposure and branding
*Work with sponsors to fulfil delegate requirements and provide additional marketing support where necessary
*Monitor competitor activity and identify and exploit new marketing opportunities

Salary £42K plus £5K comms
