Financial Reporting Analyst

Our impressive, International business services client who operate their EMEA Shared Service Centre in Bracknell, are looking to recruit an EMEA Financial Reporting Analyst to join their established EMEA Reporting team in their Shared Service Centre in Bracknell.

As the EMEA Financial Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Shared Service Centre in the definition, creation and publication of all performance and monitoring report whilst supporting the activities of all business streams to create, produce and review reporting information and KPI's.

Duties will include

  • You will liaise with key business stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for designing, collating and producing reports as required by the business and SSC teams
  • You will support the to Produce reports as per schedule and assist SSC leadership, Corporate and business streams to ensure that all KPI's are adhered to and monitored using appropriate KPI reports.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to examine and evaluate content of business reports to develop new or improved reporting.
  • You will analyse the data and provide commentary detailing any improvements or decline in the numbers along with recommendations to the root cause.
  • Make recommendations on new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information
  • Liaising with business partners to understand where improvements can be made in the creation, handling, processing or receiving of reports to gather requirements for improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Possess good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Experience of report generation/writing
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and with professionalism, meeting deadlines in a timely manner
  • Excellent customer service skills gained across multiple locations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Fluency in a number of European languages would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience within a Shared Service Centre would be beneficial
  • Experience of working within a finance environment
  • Previous experience or working in an International role would be useful but not essential
