International Accountancy Practice specialising in media clients are seeking an Accounting Associate, London

Your new company
A market leading, international accountancy firm specialising in music, sports and entertainment clients. Due to their commitments to their clients and making the industry better, they are able to provide expert advice and clarity on complex international accounting, international tax, business management and more. By providing their clients with clear solutions to complex problems, managing money with absolute integrity and resolving the trickiest of tax issues, they are able to maintain long standing relationships with their clients. Due to growth within their tour accounting team, they are looking to recruit an Accounting Associate.

Your new role
By joining a busy touring team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day bookkeeping for
clients. A typical day will include processing and raising sales invoices and purchases invoices, credit control, analysing processing expense receipts and credit card statements and finally, commissions reporting and tour reporting. As your career develops with the role, you will be responsible for VAT returns and payment processes, all the while providing general support to the Account Manager. Finally, you will help mentor and assist with the training of more junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed
A passion for the music industry is essential or this role, although previous experience of entertainment and media clients is not. An understanding and appreciation of how a tour team operates and experience in all aspects of bookkeeping and VAT returns is required. Previous experience of working in an accountancy firm is desirable and you should be at least AAT level 3 qualified with a commitment to further study (ACCA). Finally you should have excellent attention to detail, be proactive and self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude and have strong communication skills.
