Direct Mortgage Adviser (office/telephone based role), CeMap qualified and with recent/current experience.

Our client, a major building society, with a track record of putting our customers’ needs first that goes back more than 160 years are seeking to add to their inhouse team of Mortgage Advisors. You will work a 35 hour week on flexible shift rota basis.

Main Responsibilities:

What you'll do for the Societies members as one of their Direct Mortgage Advisers, you'll be the voice of the Society and exceed customer expectations every day by providing advice and guiding your customers through the entire mortgage process.

Whether they're buying their first home, improving their current property or reviewing their existing mortgage, you'll make the process simple and less challenging and help them find the right product, right away. You'll relish taking control of your time and be able to balance customer contact, compliance, training and collaboration with branch and contact centre colleagues effectively.

By building strong, trusted relationships with both your customers and key stakeholders you will provide an exceptional professional service . You'll also be an on-going point of contact for any questions and queries.

The Ideal Candidate:

Full CeMap qualification (or equivalent) and have recent mortgage advice experience.

You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple sources of information.

You will be a confident and professional communicator with a natural ability to connect with a wide range of people.

We are looking for you to have the type of personality that makes customers want to engage with us.

Great attention to detail, listening and analytical skills are also key to this role.

You will show passion by working in an energised, varied and demanding environment.
