Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for an expanding and exciting organisation based in Diss. Our client is looking for a personable and hard working individual to join their team as a purchase ledger clerk on a temporary basis but there may be opportunity for this to become a permanent role.

Your new role
The main function of the role is to provide support to a busy purchase ledger function with the main responsibilities of the role being:
To manually code a high volume of invoices onto a nominal ledger
To send invoices to the correct recipients for approval
Identify and resolve any discrepancies
To upload and import excel files for expense claims and petty cash
To resolve any queries as necessary

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 9-5.30 and will be for a minimum of 6 months but has got the potential to become a permanent vacancy

What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant experience in a purchase ledger capacity and have a keen eye for detail. You will also need a positive and proactive attitude to match a friendly and personable accounting team and be able to organise and prioritise your day effectively.
