Hays Education are currently working on behalf of a large, Birmingham secondary school in Perry Barr to recruit for a Law Teacher for a long term post from October 2017. This is a part time teaching role up to KS5 offered three days per week.
Your new School
The Senior Leadership Team at this school are looking for dedicated teaching staff who can show a positive approach to all aspects of the role and who are committed to wanting to work within education. You will need to be an experienced teacher with a hard-working and approachable attitude to be successful in your application. The school are committed to addressing under performance and are striving to improve the facilities for their pupils. They are working in collaboration with an Achievement Coordinator who is overseeing the progress across the school. Extra-curricular activities have expanded within the school, these now include languages, sports, art, music and much more! The school has a 5 acre sports field and is home a local, Tennis club.
Your new Role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to plan interesting and challenging Law lessons that will engage pupils and you will have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. You will need to be experienced teaching up to KS5 and be familiar with the current curriculum. Due to the nature of the role it is offered as a 'paid to scale' post (MPS/UPS). Interviews will take place the first two weeks in October 2017.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new teaching job you will have completed your studies and hold QTS. You will be an experienced Law Teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
