This client offers a full turnkey service; installing solar photovoltaic systems, creating renewable energy solutions across the commercial, domestic and the public sectors.

With over 30 years experience in electrical, building and insulation technologies, they’re a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in the UK. Commercial Integrity is of extreme importance to this contractor; throughout any project involved in, this client prides themselves on the provision of customer service and client satisfaction to the highest standard including a full aftercare service too.

Now looking to invest in an Installations Project Manager, who will report directly to the Operations Manager and who will have overall responsibility for planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of installation projects throughout the UK.


3+ yrs experience in a project management role working in the Solar and renewables sector.Full lifecycle experience of solar projectsTechnical and commercial due diligence.I.T. Literacy (MS Office, MS Project, MS Windows )Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislationPV design skills (PVSyst / PVSol)Technical drawing reading skillsCSCS card – Black Managers card preferred, not essentialSMSTS Certification, SSSTS will sufficeFull Driving Licence-You must be willing to travel long distances, as projects are nationwide. In the instance that any overnight stay is necessary, accommodation will be paid for and you will either have expenses payable or be given a company credit card.

- This is a field based role, in which you’ll be required to visit sites on a daily basis, spending one day per week in the office.

-At least 2 checkable work references will need to be provided if you are successful.


Fully qualified Electrician with a proven background within the PVCity & Guilds Electrical Installation 2330 or 2360 Parts 1 & 2City & Guilds 2391 Test & InspectionCity & Guilds 2382 17th Edition.City & Guild 2372/2399 or NICEIC Solar PV would be preferred but not essentialExcellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certification.Ability to perform system inspection & testing to BS 7671, commissioning and handover.Good practical knowledge of modules, inverters, DC wiring and monitoring systems.
