We are therefore looking for a professional, motivated, flexible, polite and honest individual to join our Mercedes-Benz and smart business in Newbridge as smart Brand Specialist.
We have the Fortwo and Forfour models,in our range and include the new addition of the smart electric model, the brand has ambitious plans to develop the sales of the electric range in the near future. These new models are of the highest quality and are backed up with competitive pricing and finance offers which will appeal to buyers in this sector of the market. In Edinburgh, we have successfully marketed and sold a volume of smart model for many years and have a substantial database of existing and previous customers.
The role of smart Brand Specialist involves both Management and selling functions. The Brand Specialist is responsible for the achievement of the monthly sales target for new and used smart cars, the marketing of the brand and dealership through traditional and digital means, stock ordering, consumer offers and showroom display standards. There is also an established Sales Executive who will be working for the Brand Specialist.
The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager and will have regular involvement with the manufacturer too. There is additional responsibility for ensuring the best possible service to customers whilst maintaining satisfactory profit contribution to the company, as per key indicators. We are looking for tenacity and integrity in abundance, combined with a flair for sales and a passion for the brand.
Ideally candidates will have experience in Sales, Senior Sales or a Management role within the motor industry. You will have a knowledge of F&I, planning, budget control and industry KPI’s. You will be computer literate and have the ability to prioritise, organise and direct as well as being target driven and have the ability to motivate those around you. We will provide support for the successful candidate from day one, offering a bespoke training programme tailored accordingly.
