The Company:

Our client is one of the fastest growing Retail Companies companies in the Midlands who have multiple offices across the UK employing over 25,000 staff and in the UK. The company has been established for over 100+ years and have a turnover of over £6 billion and growing and as a result are now looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their commercial team.
The company has been growing at tremendous speed the Pricing Analyst will report into the Head of Pricing where you will be given opportunities to grow and develop your skillset.

The Role:

As the Pricing Analyst you will identify, execute and monitor pricing changes needed to allow the business to deliver its margin and price perception aspirations whilst reporting into the Head of Pricing and working in a team of 7.


  • The Pricing Analyst will develop analyst tools that provides the basis for improved flexibility to respond to Pricing related request
  • Build and run the schedule of regular reporting to all the pricing teams core internal customers
  • The Pricing Analyst will Capture, review and communicated competitors pricing information to ensure ongoing and meaningful discussion with Category teams about the competitive landscape
  • Provide insightful analysis that highlights opportunities and threats and deepens our understanding of the role of pricing within the customer's buying decision.
  • Undertaken ad-hoc project work as needed in support of the Commercial function and wider divisional workstreams
  • Monitor and respond to pricing queries from the merchant branch network
  • Undertake the scheduled activities in support of managing cost increases from suppliers.

  • You will need to have the following:

    Resilience to work within a test & learn orientated function.Degree level qualification or by experienceExperience of working within a Commercial department, ideally within a Pricing team.Experience of working with and modelling large data volumes.Ability to turn large volume of data into simple, actionable insight.Positive can-do attitude and ability to work within changing deadlines and priorities.Apply today as successful applicants will be contacted within 48 hours.
