A privately owned and family managed organisation are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their established and stable finance team. With an annual turnover of £31m and employing 195 individuals this company is experiencing expansion and have clear focuses for future growth.
Your new role
This is a newly created role and main responsibilities will include L production of management accounts for 2/3 subsidiaries including accruals,prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. Responsible for processing of payroll with relevant submissions to HRMC. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Assisting with invoice inputting and credit control for larger group companies. Involvement with budget and forecasting and input into statutory returns.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an AAT Level 4 studier as a minimum and have proven work experience of working within a finance related role. Ideally you will have the ambition to continue your studies to ACCA/CIMA and have experience of using ERP systems along with knowledge of Sage. There may be some travel involved with this role, so a clean driving licence and own vehicle would be beneficial.
