Secondary school seeking a Science Teacher to start immediately on a long term basis in the Wigan area.

This secondary school is based centrally in the Wigan area and having recruiter for them for a number of years, Hays have always received excellent feedback from teachers we have placed in the school. Due to an upcoming short term vacancy, the school have approached Hays seeking a Science Teacher.
Your new role
Joining the Science department on a temporary basis, you will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 for a period of 6 weeks. You will teach pupils between the age of 11 and 16 in classes of between 25 and 30, with these pupils being of varying abilities. You will be responsible for planning and preparing lessons, ensuring all pupils work is marked and assessed and also ensuring pupils are progressing well within your classes. In addition to this, you may also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions. Please note that although this is initially for a period of 6 weeks, it is likely it could extend beyond that.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must posses Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching Science through to KS4. You must be available to start the first week in October, ideally with the availability to continue beyond the 6 week period if required.
