My client are a well-established IT consultancy and services provider based in the City of London. They provide IT consultancy and services for businesses in the Legal and professional services sectors. Due to rapid growth we require a professional and experience 3rd line engineer who can hit the ground running to deal with BAU service activity and take on current and pending projects. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer role will position you in a very desirable position within a company that encourages their staff to grow and develop at the same rate the business is. You will enjoy a salary ranging from £45,000-£55,000 depending on your skills and experience.

Required Technical Skills for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We require an Expert in Virtualisation and Networking but the work will not be limited to these areas, below is a list of the of the core requirement.

Installation & configuration, supporting & maintaining on all the below;

  • VMware: ESXi/ vSphere
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Citrix: Citrix XenApp
  • Microsoft Windows 2003/ 2008/ 2012 Servers
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003/ 2007/ 2010/ 2013
  • Microsoft SQL 2005/ 2008/ 2012
  • Cisco switches, routers & firewalls
  • Office 365
  • Highly Desirable Certification

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) 2008 or higher
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP4-DCV) or higher
  • Personal Attributes
