PERMANENT ACCOUNTANT MERTHYR
Robert Half Accounts and Finance are seeking a qualified Accountant to join a growing organisation based in Merthyr - there will be excellent career prospects. Salary to £45K plus a generous benefits package.
This is a varied accounting role reporting into the senior team.
Preparation and Presentation of Management/ Financial Accounts to Business Unit Directors and Cost Centre Managers.
Monthly Consolidated Management Accounts for reporting to PCI Corporate.
Prepare Annual accounts liaising with auditors and full reconciliation of the balance sheet.
Company cashbook reconciliation
Monthly Forecasting of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
Control account reconciliation's with explanation/ resolving of variances.
Maintain and Monitor Stock Valuation.
Fixed asset register maintenance and capital project management.
Monthly Intra Company Accounts Reconciliation.
Maintain and update the structure of the General Ledgers.
Completion of Vat returns, Intrastats, EC Sales and liaising with HMRC officials
Take a leading role in the continuous improvement activities of the Finance Function.
Dealing with customs clearance of imported goods.
Finance Report Writer Maintenance.
Control Month and Year end procedures.
Provide cover where required in the Finance Function.
Qualifed Accountant with strong financial reporting experince

£40,000 to £45,000 plus pension and an excellent benefits package
