A well established publisher and events provider is seeking an experienced Head Of Marketing to join the team to assist in team development and marketing campaign management across a market leading portfolio of publishing and event products.

The Head Of Marketing will be a key figure in the senior leadership team within the organisation and have a key role in shaping and directing the marketing strategy across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Head Of Marketing
  • Work with senior management in development of marketing objectives and and strategy across each product in the company's portfolio.
  • Management and motivation of marketing and circulation team staff.
  • Management of the company marketing budget.
  • Development of company's databases and database strategy.
  • Oversee all content and ensure the quality and content of all marketing material is to a high standard.
  • Manage sponsorship deals and marketing partnerships, working closely with the commercial team.
  • Working closely with key industry partners to open up new marketing opportunities.
  • Development of digital marketing strategies, notably social media.
  • Representation of the company at industry events
Requirements of the Head Of Marketing
  • Senior marketing management experience in the media, events and publishing sector is a key requirement for the role.
  • Strong team development skills are strongly advantageous.
  • A strong background in developing strategic marketing plans is a key requirement.
