ASD Teacher - Additionally Resourced Provision? Have you considered working within an SEN provision within a mainstream school? Want to work on a 1:2:1 basis supporting learners with additional needs? We are currently working with an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) within a mainstream school who are seeking a Primary Teacher with ASD experience. The role is full time, long term starting immediately.

About the School

This popular Primary School based in West London cater for children aged from 2 to 11 years old. Their Additionally Resourced Provision caters for pupils with Special Education Needs including Autism and Speech and Language Needs. The curriculum is tailored with a nurturing approach appropriately designed to support the pupil's individual needs. At the school, pupils benefit from working as a class group; they learn from each other to share attention to improve literacy and numeracy targets. The dedicated team of support staff also support in small groups or individually with each pupil to meet their individual needs.

The teachers work in close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team to review pupil's individual education plans every term. Short-term targets are listed in small steps towards the long-term targets agreed at annual reviews. These targets address the areas important for that child's development, usually incorporating communication skills, cognitive development and/or personal and social education.

• Hold QTS (or overseas equivalent)
• Be Primary or Secondary trained
• ASD/SEN experience essential
• Have a DBS (we can support with your application)
