This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience of working within a Manufacturing environment to join a global manufacturing organisation.

The main focus of the role will be to provide the business with informative, relevant and timely financial information on monthly performance, forward looking budgets and forecasts as well as supporting the business in driving operational initiatives. Be part of the management team and provide support to Management's decision making processes by managing the analysis and reporting around key business drivers and financials.

Duties within the role will include:
Provide finance and business support to site General Managers / Operations Directors and management teams. Be the Finance point contact on site.
Provide financial analysis and commentaries on monthly P&L, balance sheet and other relevant business KPIs, with comparisons to forecast and budgets. Examples include; cost centre and operational analytics, variance analysis, management reporting and corporate / segment support activities.
Coordinate and prepare the annual budget submission and monthly forecasts with input from local management and functional business groups.
Be the business interface with the Share Accounting Service Centre and outsource partner. Be involved and contribute with the monthly financial close
Responsibility for the site control environment (where these have not transferred to the controllership teams).
Preparation and submission of capital expenditure investments and post- acquisition reviews.
Support and lead Operational Excellence projects.
Update product standard costs and agree transfer prices with Divisional Sales and Tax.
Be responsible for the inventory reporting and maintenance of ERP product costing information. Understand bill of material and routings.

Have good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet operational and financial deadlines.

In terms of your experience it is essential that you have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment and using standard costing methodology.
Experience of manufacturing ERP systems - a strong background in commercial finance, budgets and forecasting activities. You should be able to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues and to build strong working relationships with managers and Finance team

The salary band for this role is between 42,300 and 56,500. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9-5 and 1pm finish on Friday
