Adoptions Engineer / Estates Engineer, Housing Developer, Exeter, £28k - £38k per year + Car

You'll be working for a leading housing developer who have one of the best reputations in the industry for both quality of build and the way they look after their staff. My client is seeking an Adoptions Engineer / Estates Engineer to join their busy technical department.

Your new role

Infrastructure and Open Spaces Adoptions

  • Allocation of contractors for all adoptable works
  • Monitor progress and ensure completion of works
  • Site inspections
  • Monitor all adoption Section Agreements (Section 38, 104, 111 and 278 Agreements)
  • Liaising with the Local Authority, Bondsman and company Solicitors
  • Resolve all issues arising from completed sites
  • Resolve complaints from customers and members of the public
  • Produce estimates. budgets and programmes for all completion works
  • Monitor expenditure
  • Produce Monthly Estate Completions reports and budget forecasts

Detailed Design Stage

  • Procure quotations for new suppliers
  • Procure services layouts
Land Appraisal Stage

  • Establish budget costs for new suppliers
  • Identify abnormal services lead-in timescales

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communicator
  • Relevant recent experience
  • Qualified to degree level or HNC/HND
