High volume, fast paced Purchase Ledger role....permanent and full time

£18-20,000 per annum depending on experience
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ledger Clerk to join a friendly team in this Carmarthenshire Organisation
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with accurate and timely processing of invoices
Your main role will be:
- Checking, coding, matching and entering of invoices
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Entering bank transactions
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required
In order to be selected for interview, you must have experience within a finance environment and a working knowledge of computerised accountancy software. This is a very high volume and fast paced role; you must be motivated and capable of working to fairly strict deadlines. A 'people person' you will be liaising with clients, customers and colleagues on a daily basis, in person, by phone and by email.
The ability to start at fairly short notice would be an advantage.
