Mortgage Completions Specialist - Surrey - £30,000 - £35,000

This new role offers the right candidate the opportunity to work for a progressive and forward­ thinking specialist mortgage lender that distributes via the financial intermediary channel in a market sector that is currently undergoing phenomenal growth.

This exciting role offers the successful candidate the chance to join an exciting, fast growing business and benefit from the opportunities that this brings. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and process a pipeline of mortgage post offer cases to completion. You will work as part of a team to ensure that departmental targets are met along with maintaining high service standards to all stakeholders, in particular our business partners.

A pre-requisite for the role is that the candidate has current experience of the mortgage completions process in a UK regulated mortgage environment as well as excellent administration, computer literacy, telephone communication skills and an ability to work well under pressure. Mortgage underwriting experience within the specialist residential and buy-to-let mortgage sectors would also be of benefit.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Deliver a first class proactive customer service through inbound and outbound communication by telephone, email and letter to all case stakeholders including Solicitors, Finance, Introducers, service suppliers, reference providers and applicants
- Ensuing that completions are correctly funded and released in a timely manner for legal completion.
- Assist Lending Manager in the management of dedicated pipeline of cases through to Completion, providing support when required.
- Actively manage a high pipeline of cases to improve conversion rates.
- Daily management of the Workflow system to ensure that workload is actioned within service standards.
- Build a thorough understanding of the products offered by the business, its lending strategy, credit risk policies, and processes.
- Ensuring a high level of accuracy of data entry and ongoing record keeping.

Experience Required

- Mortgage knowledge: A good understanding of the mortgage sector and mortgage process.
- Customer and Relationship Management: An effective communicator who develops and manages relationships with customers.
- Prioritisation: experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines - a 'can do' attitude.
- Process Management: Monitors the business process to maximum efficiency and business conversion.
- Teamwork: Working together to achieve the common goal, a good team player.
- Regulatory: Ensure that all processes operate within the UK regulatory guidelines.
